The Little Door

The Little Door’s Outdoor Patio Dining

  • By Kymberly Chase

Restaurants come and go all the time but no matter what, there is always The Little Door. This European-style hideaway on Third Street in West Hollywood is one of the most reliable date night spots in LA. The tiny brasserie has a lovely outdoor dining garden where the atmosphere is always tranquil and a French-tinged menu that never disappoints. Favorites like the grilled Spanish octopus with chourico, garlic aioli, chervil, panisse, citrus puree, smoked sabayon, pickled mustard seeds, steak tartar with Chermoula, herbs, pink peppercorn with charred onion, and pickled egg yolk pudding are guaranteed to make your mouth water.

The succulent lamb chops and the fresh caught halibut are perfect for holiday dining. Executive Chef Jonathan Portela has created a Thanksgiving sharing menu ($70 per person) and a condensed version of the regular menu will also be offered. A $20 per person deposit is required to confirm dinner reservations which will be applied toward your final bill. If you’ve been wishing that you could rendezvous in Europe with the one you love, this place might just tide you over until you can get there. Whether it’s your third date or you’ve been together for years, The Little Door always hits the mark.

So, on Thanksgiving Day why not enjoy an intimate dinner with lovers, friends, and family at The Little Door? May your Thanksgiving be a dreamy dining experience — tasty, healthy, and safe!
