Toluca Lake has a hidden gem and its name is Prosecco Trattoria—opened by owner Amy Fishburn over 16 years ago. Wow! No easy task in Los Angeles. This restaurant is so very rustic and romantic offering delicious Italian fare to match.

The dining room feels so pleasant and homey, ideal for a cold winter’s night or rainy afternoon. It has an intimate feel that’s very inviting. It’s really perfect for that special “date” night.

Prosecco is well known for its Panettone Bread Pudding—served with wild berry drizzle and cinnamon gelato (the gelato is worth the trip alone!). I highly recommend that you save room for dessert. We started with Arugula with Shaved Parmesan with lemon and Super Tuscan Olive Oil. Nice. Then we had to try the Ravioli del Giorno (the daily ravioli special), a dish they are famous for. Simply divine! The raviolis were amazingly fresh and so huge! And on this day they were stuffed to capacity with five cheeses and were swimming in a light tomato sauce. Yum! The room is warm and so is the service. If you haven’t already, check it out!

Prosecco is located at 10144 Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake. For reservations call 818-505-0930.
