Intersect Palm Springs returns to the desert for another great year of exhibitions, talks, curated display spaces, and artistic appreciation.

The art fair boasts a long list of talks from artists from across the world. German sculptor Larry Kagan will discuss his transformative method of utilizing light within his sculptures to create additional forms made entirely of shadow. French artist Carole Chaix will comment on her stylistic, science-fiction approach to her medium of pastels, oil, and ink and how it allows her to offer social commentary on our present-day life. Trailblazing sculptor Carole Feuerman will explore her individuality as a creator, being the only woman sculpting in her style and the only artist creating painted outdoor works grounded in realism.

One notable curated space is the High Desert Test Sites, an organization based in an 80-acre compound that places emphasis on inserting art directly into a landscape or community. The exhibit will be showing A-Z West Works, a series of functional objects designed from the artist’s own lifestyle. Another space not to miss is the Tiny Home Project, a fully functional home measuring 20-by-8 feet that truly allows for a single person to live comfortably. In this varied setting, there’s truly something for everyone.

Intersect Palm Springs will take place February 8-11 throughout the Palm Springs area.
