The beautiful grounds of the Indian Canyons Golf Resort will come alive with cool jazz sounds from the best of Southern California’s vast female jazz talent alongside national and international artists. Celebrating the musical history and the contribution that women have played in jazz, the Palm Springs Women’s Jazz Festival, hosted by Festival Artistic Director Sweet Baby J’ai, will feature more than 30 world class female musicians.

The knockout lineup includes Sweet Baby J’ai, a critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, arranger who has toured the world with her distinctive sound. Known for her energetic stage presence and powerful vocals, J’ai blurs the line between jazz, R&B, and blues. Legendary jazz and blues singer, and Los Angeles favorite, Barbara Morrison has been dazzling audiences around the globe with her melodic rich, unique, soulful and high spirited renditions of familiar jazz and blues standards.

Other talents include jazz superstars, trumpeter, Cindy Bradley; Grammy-nominated vocalist Perla Batalla; blues legend Lady GG; jazz guitar great Mimi Fox;  renowned violinist Karen Briggs; classically trained jazz piano wonder Helen Sung; along with more world-class female musicians who will keep feet tapping and fingers snapping during this 4-day jazz extravaganza.
