For some, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is the official start of summer. Fans flock from around the globe for these three days of musical bliss amidst blue skies, pink mountains and purple sunsets. Since 1999, Coachella has offered an amazing mix of old and new favorite bands of multiple genres while laying stage for new favorites to be discovered. It’s our annual west coast Woodstock. And if you miss anything the first weekend, come back the next weekend and do it all over again!

Headlining this year’s lineup are OutKast, Muse, and Arcade Fire. Surely not to be missed are performances by the Afghan Whigs, and Beck, plus a whole slew of awesomeness on Saturday, including quintessential rockers Queens of the Stone Age; makin’ the crowd happy Pharrell; the ever lovely Lorde; and ready to bend your mind and body, dubstep sultan Skrillex.

New to the Coachella grounds this year is a slew of restaurant pop-ups, craft food and spirits makers featuring many Los Angeles favorites such as Sugar Fish and Salt Air. From Portland look for Stumptown Coffee to get your day started right, while Salt and Straw Ice Cream will satisfy your sweet tooth. All the way from London is Ben Spalding to share his refined street food project Stripped Back. Plus many more to tantalize your taste buds and quench your cocktail needs!

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Annual Festival takes place April 11-13 and 18-20 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
