Los Angeles, the town that originated spin-offs, revamps and comebacks is becoming the home destination of the latest spin-off, Suits LA, based on the 2011 hit series Suits which aired until 2019. Suits was nominated for and won many awards including SAG and People’s Choice Awards. Set in a fictional New York Corporate law firm, Suits followed Mike Ross (Pretty Little Liars’ Patrick J. Adams), a college dropout with a photographic memory, as he works his way up in the law firm alongside Harvey Specter (A Love Song for Bobby Long’s Gabriel Macht.).
Suits LA is a spin-off set in Los Angeles and follows Ted Black (Arrow’s Stephen Amell), a former federal prosecutor who becomes a defense attorney representing the most powerful clients in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. He is surrounded by a cast of characters Bryan Greenberg (The Mindy Project), Josh McDermitt (The Walking Dead), Lex Scott Davis (Training Day), and Gabriel Macht (returning as Harvey Specter.) Showrunner and Executive Producer Aaron Korsh says that throughout the series events slowly unravel that led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.
Suits LA will premiere on February 23, 2025, on NBC.
