October at The Wallis brings a wide spectrum of music, dance, theater, and film, offering audiences an unforgettable lineup. The month begins on the 6th, at 7:00 p.m. with the special screening of Do You Remember?, a film tribute celebrating the electrifying music standards spanning the career of Clive Davis. The screening will be followed by a conversation, giving audiences a deeper look at the legacy of one of the music industry’s most influential figures.

On October 15, 2025 at 7:30pm, two titans of contemporary jazz, Christian McBride and Brad Mehldau, share the stage for an evening of rich improvisation and masterful artistry. From October 17 to 19, UnRavelled makes its world premiere. This new work explores the extraordinary connection between Canadian painter Dr. Anne Adams and composer Maurice Ravel, both of whom developed the same rare neurological condition. The production blends theater, science, and music to tell a powerful story of creativity and identity.

From October 23 to 25, L.A. Dance Project: GEMS presents Benjamin Millepied’s trilogy Reflections, Hearts & Arrows, and On the Other Side. The program showcases Millepied’s innovative choreographic style, fusing movement, music, and visual design.

October concludes on the 26th with Martín + Hamelin + Brahms, featuring Music Director Jaime Martín and pianist Marc-André Hamelin in Farrenc’s Symphony No. 2 and Brahms’s monumental First Piano Concerto.

From a film tribute to jazz collaborations, groundbreaking dance, and classical mastery, The Wallis offers a rich and varied season.
