Get ready for the 2024 Season opening night at the Hollywood Bowl! On Sunday, June 23, at 7:30pm, it’s a 100th Birthday Celebration for Henry Mancini. The 20-time Grammy Award-winning composer of favorite songs and scores ranging from Moon River to the score for The Pink Panther appeared regularly on the Bowl’s stage, conducting 29 times. The show will feature the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra conducted by Thomas Wilkins along with special guests Michael Bublé, Cynthia Erivo, Dave Koz, and (Henry’s daughter) Monica Mancini. Opening night always sells out, so make your plans now and don’t forget to reserve parking!

As usual, the 2024 season includes a wide variety of classical, pop, and rock music. Throughout the summer and fall, the LA Philharmonic will treat audiences to classical programs under the stars including Beethoven, Ravel, Stravinsky, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, and many others. Special events will include the beloved July Fourth Fireworks Spectacular, this year starring Harry Connick, Jr. (July 2, 3, 4); Maestro of the Movies: John Williams with the LA Philharmonic (July 13 & 14); Disney 80s–90s Celebration in Concert (July 19 & 20); Barbie The Movie In Concert(July 27); the annual Tchaikovsky Spectacular with Fireworks (August 2 & 3); Singin’ in the Rain in Concert (August 27); the annual Sound of Music Sing-A-Long (September 21), and more. The Bowl will also host evenings with Beck, Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Herbie Hancock, Sara Bareilles, Pink Martini, and others. Summer is here!
