The Flash hits theaters June 16, 2023 (Starring Ezra Miller as Flash)

The Scarlet Speedster, also known as The Flash (Played by Ezra Miller, Fantastic Beasts) speeds into theaters and the hearts of The Flash fans. This marks the first time the character, based on the 1940 comic book character of the same name, has had his own feature film. Barry Allen aka The Flash has had a successful television series (starring Glee’s Grant Gustin) running for nearly a decade. As the series wraps up, Miller steps into the scarlet running shoes to continue the legacy of the fastest man alive.

When Barry Allen, a forensic scientist, is struck by lightning he acquires super (hero) speed known as The Speed Force. Allen/The Flash uses his powers for good and protects Central City from evil. The Flash goes on to be a founding member of The Justice League and is a key player in almost every major event in DC Comics.

The Flash film is inspired by Flashpoint and will be pulling elements from that well-known storyline. Barry goes back in time to save his mother from being murdered and inadvertently causes a ripple in time that will bring about the end of the world. How many times would the world have ended without our beloved superheroes to save us? Now Barry must find a way to reset the timeline before it’s too late. Ben Affleck will be Playing this Earth’s Batman/Bruce Wayne role. And because Flashpoint uses alternate timelines and universes, and Michael Keaton will again be donning the BatmanMantle in this film and fans are excited about this. Also, Michael Shannon (Man of Steel) will reprise his role of General Zod.
