The San Diego Zoo may be temporarily closed due to the Corona Virus, but no one told the animals! You can check in on your favorite animal friends by visiting their live-streaming animal cams, watch videos, and share the fun with kids as they learn by using the Zoo’s free online curriculum guides and activities.

From their habitat to yours, watch the Ape, Baboon, Burrowing Owl, Butterfly, Condor, Elephant, Giraffe, Koala, Penguin, Polar, Tiger Cams and catch the action as they explore, eat, sleep, swing, pounce, groom and play. With their distinctive black markings, the Giant Panda has become a favorite of everyone. Honoring the terms of their conservation loan agreement, with the Peoples Republic of China, the two beloved Pandas, 27 year old Panda Bai Yun and her son 6 year old Xiao Liwu have been repatriated to their ancestral homeland, but you can still enjoy them on video recorded from January through April 2019. Visit the Panda Blog on the San Diego Zoo site, and learn more about these favorites from Southern China.

In addition to the live cams, #WereHereTogether provides supplemental curriculum on wildlife for students K -12, animal care professionals, educators, parents and fans. Programs include K-5 in which younger kids can jump into the world of wild life with San Diego Zoo kids, video stories, hands on activities, and games and links to the live cams.
